We give you the opportunity to spend a night out (or a few) in nature after enjoying a day on the trails! Our accommodation has been built to blend into the natural setting consisting of:
Bridelia & Strelizia: 2 x 6 sleeper timber cabin units
Each cabin unit consists of two separate timber bedrooms each with a sliding door opening out onto their own verandah. The bathroom (shower only) and self-catering kitchenette (including cutlery, crockery, pots, pans, electric kettle, toaster, fridge/freezer & two-ring gas top for cooking) situated between the rooms. A braai / camp fire and benches is set just in front of the rooms . Bedding & towels are provided. Basic servicing included. Plug points and fans in rooms.
Clearwater Cottage
Located close to the main farmstead, hosted by Maggie & Tony Abbott, consisting of 3 bedrooms, a central sitting area, fully equipped kitchenette and bathroom (shower only). The Cottage looks seaward over the banana plantations and is set within a beautiful indigenous garden. Guests have their own braai area with a pool close by to dip into.
4 level camp sites (max 4 per site)

We offer basic camping (unpowered) with the ‘rent-a-tent’ option (two man dome tent + bedding) or bring your own. Open-air (hot) showers and toilet (loo-with-a-view) are available close to the sites. You need to be prepared with all your own catering equipment. A braai and waste removal is provided for your convenience.
Remember to bring your personal effects (remember good walking shoes); food & drink, beach towels, torch/headlamp; insect repellent (in summer months)
Port Edward, only 10 minutes drive away provides shopping centres, Banks & ATM’s, Medical & Dental , Property Agents, Laundromat, Internet Cafe , Tourist Office & Information, Library. CLEARWATER KITCHEN
Maggie Abbott bakes scrumptious homemade biscuits, rusks and is quite famous for her date squares amongst hungry trail users after a long day out there.
Catering is offered to pre-booked tour groups wherein the emphasis is placed on healthy, wholesome, home cooked food. Where possible, we source the freshest vegetables and meats and sometimes it has come straight off the farm!
