The Gorge View Deck extends into the KZN Wildlife Umtamvuna Nature Reserve from Clearwater Farm's boundaries across the grasslands and to the very edge of the gorge.  The view is both unique and spectacular providing an breathtaking vista incorporating the gorge, river and coastline.  

While the Nature Reserve presents a platform from which to enjoy the flowerings of the grasslands and intermitment encounters with the small animal wildlife the distant view takes in the cultural aspect of the informal settlements within the
Eastern Cape.
